Courage or Fear
There is a challenge linked to fear, as with any other unpleasant emotion – to let it be, to trust the moment, to trust that it will be over in time. To realize that if we allow it, the moment would continue and become an opportunity, a story to tell and an experience that eventually would make us stronger, or more emphatic and humane.
Who Best Evaluates the Personal Development Professional?
I think that the people who can truly evaluate the process of personal development are the clients themselves. When the client of a practitioner I taught tells me things like ‘these sessions will change my life’, I can only proudly smile and be happy that I have been able to play some part in the positive direction their life has taken.
Teaching is more than just the lessons
Teaching is a valuable way of communicating, only with a whole group of people. Each of those people is unique and special and each needs to find their own ways for personal expression and learning.
Finding Self Respect Through Acknowledging our Past
I think that in order to live a life of purpose we should find a way to respect any part of our life -our victories as well as our failings, our happy moments as well as our sad ones, our achievements next to the moments we disappointed ourselves.
Why Wait
She could create a state of being, where hours would pass into the void of nothingness. Her eyes would stare to a point just in front of her, slightly above her head; her shoulders would drop and her hands would sit helplessly somewhere on her body, as if looking for some comfort.
